Be sure unit power supply is disconnected! Risk of electric shock!
Unit has been decontaminated especially the initiation needle ! Risk of injury from the tip of the needle!
Use appropriate protective gear.

Needle cleaning
Clean the needle at least once every quarter.
Tools are needed.
Power down device using on/off switch on rear side and disconnect power plug.
For cleaning the needle remove the elevator cover with the 2 screws on the front as shown in (figure 2) and pull carefully the cover off.
Loosen the screw on the disk then pull the disk carefully of the axis and bring it upwards.
Pay attention to the needle guide don’t forget to place it back otherwise the needle will bend and get damage.
Use a soft paper towel to thoroughly clean the thermistor probe you can moistened the paper with water or about 50% isopropanol.
The needle may have a slight bend towards the back.
When placing the elevator cover back pay attention to the thermistor probe cable.

Thermistor probe cleaning
Clean the thermistor probe element at least once every quarter.
Tools are needed.
Remove the elevator cover with the 2 screws on the front as shown in (figure 3) pull carefully the cover off.
Use a soft paper towel to thoroughly clean the thermistor probe you can moistened the paper with water ore.

When placing the cover back pay attention to the thermistor probe cable.
Upper Peltier element
Clean upper peltier element after each batch or at the end of the day this will prevent de-icing of the element.
Use a cotton swab stick drained it in 50% isopropanol or water depending on the pollution to clean the peltier element.

Lower Peltier element
Clean lower peltier element after each batch or at the end of the day.
